- Your furnace and air conditioner are more than 15 years old.
- You want to install a high-efficiency air conditioner soon, which possibly might not be compatible with an older model.
- You want to boost your energy savings with a smart thermostat, which often doesn’t work with older heating and cooling equipment.

Small tasks like changing the air filter and keeping your equipment clean can go a long way in improving energy efficiency. Routine maintenance is typically the key to keeping your costs down.
What are different types of AC systems?
Central air conditioners are ducted HVAC products that extract heat from your home. There are also heat pump air conditioners, which draw out heat with a reversible flow of coolant, as well as ductless mini-splits.
What size air conditioner do I need?
The right size air conditioner depends on the size and layout of your home, as well as local climate.
You need to properly size the AC system to ensure its both effective and efficient.
Do you provide emergency AC repair?
What are some common air conditioner problems?
- AC leaking water. This is usually the PVC pipe going out of the AC unit. Leaking refrigerant can cause ice to collect on the coils and drip water. AC repair is necessary when this happens and should be treated as an AC emergency.
- Air conditioner won’t turn on. Homeowners can first check the thermostat settings and look for a tripped breaker on the electrical panel. If the breaker is tripped, it may not require a repair call.
- AC not blowing cold air. Double check the thermostat settings are on the correct temperature and that your thermostat has power. Then replace the filter. You can also make sure the AC unit isn’t obstructed with debris, and that it isn’t leaking refrigerant. If you find a leak or your AC is still blowing hot air, call us at 469-250-0932 for emergency AC repair.
- AC making strange noise. Screeching, banging or clicking sounds coming from your AC could indicate a serious problem. If you’re noticing weird air conditioner noises, shut off your AC and call us.
